¿What kind of brush should I use?

When choosing a toothbrush, it's best to go for one with soft nylon bristles, as hard bristles can irritate gums and even wear away tooth enamel. Make sure the brush fits comfortably in your hand, and that the head is small enough to reach all of your teeth.

Regular toothbrush change

It is best to change the brush every 3 or 4 months, or as soon as you notice that the bristles begin to separate and lose their shape. When deciding when to change your brush, it's best to look at how it looks and not how long you've been using it.

An important piece of advice, be sure to always rinse your brush after use, and store it upright and uncovered, so it can dry before you use it again. In this way you avoid the accumulation of bacteria.

  6. To finish, rinse your mouth with water and spit it out. Once this is done, you can use a fluoride mouthwash for 30 seconds.
